China
anti-cult association condemns Falun Gong's inhumanity (12/19/2001)
The China Anti-Cult Association released a statement Wednesday
condemning the murder committed by a practitioner of the notorious
Falun Gong cult, headed by Li Hongzhi.
The murder, more irrefutable evidence of Falun Gong's inhumanity,
occurred on November 25, 2001. Fu Yibin, a 46-year-old Falun Gong
follower, ruthlessly killed his father and wife, and badly injured
his mother in downtown Beijing.
The case has revealed more irrefutable evidence about the inhumanity
of the Falun Gong cult, which uses evil fallacies to control its
followers' minds with the aim of doing severe harm to society, thus
bringing tragedy to many individuals and their families, the statement
says.
Statistics show that more than 1,700 people have died from the cult's
mental control.
The ban and the fight against the Falun Gong cult by the Chinese
government are aimed at protecting the people and have gained determined
support of all people, the statement says.
The association calls on the government to strike hard on the illegal
activities of Falun Gong and punish criminals. It also appeals to
bewitched followers to get out of the cult's mental control and
turn back to their normal lives as soon as possible.
The statement says the association has been working to protect human
dignity, guarantee law implementation, ensure social stability and
fight against cults and evil forces.
The association will make greater efforts to eliminate the harm
caused by all evil cults at root level, the statement says.
